First Supplier Day
In 2025, we brought together all strategic suppliers for the first time with a clear message: the ESG transition is built together.
Supplier Day was an opportunity to share the Group’s industrial vision and launch a concrete call to action: promoting co-design and co-engineering paths, developing long-term strategic partnerships and building shared ESG initiatives along the entire value chain. Because a more sustainable industry starts with collaboration.
ESG Integration in Purchases
Integrating sustainability into purchasing is a strategic choice. Voilàp has structured a complete system to bring ESG criteria to the core of its procurement processes:
‣ a Group Steering Committee to govern sustainable purchasing strategies;
‣ Training: 100% of Buyers and Purchasing Managers have attended a dedicated sustainable procurement programme;
‣ An annual ESG assessment that defines an ESG Score and an ESG Maturity for each supplier;
‣ The Supplier Day: an open discussion with strategic suppliers to spread ESG culture along the entire supply chain;
‣ 10 targeted meetings with strategic suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint of products;
‣ The ESG score integrated into the selection process for new suppliers: sustainability is an entry criterion.
green aluminum
Aluminium is at the heart of many of our products, and making it green is a choice that matters. Thanks to the strategic partnership with Hydro Extrusion Italy, Voilàp introduces into Emmegi an aluminium with a high content of pre- and post-consumer recycled material, obtained through lower-impact processes. The result is a carbon footprint of just 5.66 kgCO₂eq per kg of aluminium, well below the global average.
In 2025, for the second consecutive year, around 25 tonnes of this certified green aluminium supported Emmegi production. A commitment that is consolidated year after year and aims to be progressively extended to the other Group companies.
vegetable oil
Starting from September 2023, Voilàp has replaced the CSF35 cutting coolant oil with a new vegetable, non-toxic and biodegradable version (NLO-01). This type of oil guarantees the same cutting performance of the machines, but with a lower environmental impact. Furthermore, it leaves minimal product residues after processing, facilitates and reduces cleaning times of the finished piece and is transparent and odorless.
This solution has been implemented for Emmegi and Tekna products, but will gradually be extended to other production companies in the group.
supplier code of conduct
The Voilàp Group recognizes the importance of ensuring a transparent supply chain to regulate and reduce social and environmental impacts to protect its stakeholders. For this reason, the Voilàp Group requires its suppliers and subcontractors to adhere to the principles established by the Supplier Code of Conduct, sharing with them a common set of rules, practices and principles regarding business ethics and integrity, working conditions and social responsibility, environmental protection, health and safety and quality.
