The future of innovation is in the young people’s hands

It is with this belief that Voilàp decide to become the first manufacturing company in Italy to launch a “shadow board” called Voilàb. This is our new way of collaboration between the Group’s young twenties and the CEO Valter Caiumi for a new “Sound of Voilàp”. The goal is to encourage the execution of concrete and “disruptive” initiatives, increase the sense of belonging and group visibility, accelerate its competitiveness and define new perspectives & strategies.

voilàp for dynamo camp

Each kilometre can make the difference!

This is the spirit of Voilàp while participating to the Milano Marathon, the relay marathon in which companies and people can run in the name of charity. Voilàp ran alongside Dynamo Camp, supporting the City Camp project, which offers Recreational Therapy programmes to children and young people who are facing serious or chronic illness, disabilities and whose lives that are limited by the structures of a society that is not always inclusive and fit for all.
Voilàp is proud to be one of the 31 companies, 25 personal fundraiser and +400 donators that ran for Dynamo Camp and we can’t wait to run together again.

In order to develop a shared sustainability vision and culture and integrate sustainability topics into company’s day-to-day decision-making, since June 2023 Voilàp trained:
the Executive Leadership Team, top managers & hub managers on sustainability trends and pressures on the market and how it is impacting each function
‣ several employees around the group on ESG core topics through live-training sessions & the e-learning platform Study in Action
‣ all the purchasing colleagues around the group on sustainable procurement topics powered by ADACI
‣ colleagues from operations on decarbonisation levers and energy efficiency

Voilàp launched an Health & Safety Culture Program to increase and ensure prevention & awareness on the H&S risks in the workplace, through the following actions:
‣ identification and distribution of new PPE (“Personal Protective Equipment”) for each department with the installation of PPE and tools’ dispensers
‣ joining the USL Program, an initiative of the Emilia Romagna region to support active and healthy ageing by encouraging and facilitating the adoption of healthy lifestyles
‣ sharing of best practices in the offices & manufacturing plants to increase employees’ attention & sense of responsibility
‣ a wide training program on general and specific safety, fire prevention, first aid, safety principals and managers.

Voilàp put in place the following actions to give its contribution in the common fight to reduce single-use plastic:
‣ Adoption of a Plastic-free in corporate offices’ policy
‣ Installation of water refilling systems in its larger facilities
Replacement of disposable single-use plastic items from vending machines with paper or hybrid coffee cups, biodegradable/compostable stirrers, snack and fresh beverages with more sustainable packaging solutions
